Snowy Owl Study is an original Metal Drawing by artist Jen Lipski. This original artwork was created by painting the image onto a sheet of steel with layers of acid. The clear acid is applied to the metal, causing the steel to rapidly oxidize and darken in colour, before being quickly washed away to control the effect. You can see a brief video of this artwork being created . This artwork includes a rustic wooden frame securely mounted to the work and is ready to hang. Due to the highly reflective nature of the steel, the appearance of this artwork varies greatly under different lighting conditions!
